Värdering av LP'ernas tillstånd

We grade all second-hand LPs according to the most recognised grading scale: the Goldmine Grading System. This scale originally appeared in 1974 in a publication of Goldmine Magazine. Click on a condition on the scale below to read more.

You can also read a bit about some of the terms we use.

Cut-out

When record companies are left with stock of a particular release, they often choose to cut a small mark into the edge of the cover to indicate that this record is heavily discounted. This is partly so that shops will sell the record at a reduced price and the right to return no longer applies. The cut-out marking is usually very discreet and never affects the record itself.

Seam-split

Under flytning og forsendelse, kan plader inde i coveret slå hul i siderne. Det er derfor, at vi hos Vinylpladen.dk altid sender pladerne ude af deres cover i et beskyttende indersleeve.
